Mantebre Farms — "Wontebre Da" — was founded on a simple conviction: that farming done patiently and honestly produces animals of a quality that shortcuts never can. Set in the fertile lands of Effiduase Ahwerewa, we have grown from a modest homestead into a specialist piggery and rabbitry known for the strength of our breeding lines and the care behind them.

With over 30 years of experience in piggery and livestock, our vision is to become one of the best piggeries in Africa whilst maintaining the highest quality in meat production.

Our next great leap is genetic. Mantebre Farms is working to establish a modern artificial insemination (AI) management service for pig farmers across the Ashanti Region — bringing disciplined, genetics-led breeding within reach of every serious producer.

With more than 30 years of experience in piggery and livestock, Mr. James Owusu has built Mantebre Farms from the ground up into a renowned farming establishment in the Ashanti Region. His deep knowledge of pig breeding and animal husbandry has been the foundation of the farm's success.

As the son of the founder and Farm Director, Mr. Emmanuel Lamptey Kwaku Osafo brings fresh vision and modern farming techniques to Mantebre Farms — carrying forward the family legacy while driving the farm toward its vision of becoming one of Africa's finest piggeries.
